Job Description

About the role

We’re looking for a Commercial Coordinator to join our Finance & Investment Division, as part of our Commercial Team, initially as an approx. 18-month fixed-term contract with a strong view for permanency.

This newly created role will centralise supplier data management by streamlining procurement administration currently performed by multiple staff. It’s a fantastic opportunity for the right person to improve operational efficiency, reduce compliance risk, and enhance data quality across our organisation.

As Commercial Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant supplier records, supporting procurement reporting, and assisting with contract administration. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure documentation is current, systems are up to date, and processes run smoothly. This role is central to improving procurement efficiency and consistency across Landcom and will support data-driven decision-making aligned with our strategic goals.
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintain and update supplier records and documentation
  • Liaise with suppliers to verify information and resolve discrepancies
  • Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure compliance with policies
  • Track contract status, expiry dates, and coordinate renewals
  • Assist with procurement reporting and data analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams to consolidate supplier information
  • Support system improvements and supplier performance tracking
  • Provide guidance to staff on procurement documentation standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supplier governance


Skills & Experience

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in procurement, supplier management, or data administration
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems
  • Certificate or diploma in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field
  • Exposure to government procurement and contract management is desirable
  • Experience in construction, property or infrastructure sectors is highly regarded
